​Q: Is the National Guard closing Missouri’s borders in the morning?

A: Answer is NO! The National Guard is not stopping people from entering or exiting Missouri.

Q: There is talk of disarming the citizens and even the Highway Patrol has switched uniforms making them look more like a military agency and less like a law enforcement agency. Is this true?

​A: A simple check of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Facebook page explains the uniform change. On March 19, 2020, at 5:18 p.m. there was a post explaining why troopers are wearing class C uniforms. Their regular uniforms are dry clean only. To protect the Trooper and the Public during the Covid-19 Pandemic, they went to class C uniforms that can be machined washed daily to help stop the spread of the virus.

There are no talks of disarming citizens among local law enforcement.
