Jail Information
Our inmates currently use Stellar Services to order approved commissary items. Stellar also offers an email service as well as a video chat for families that are unable to visit.

Work Release
Work release is approved for 40 hours a week maximum that includes 8 hour work days unless otherwise approved by the Jail Administrator.
Please have the work release form filled out and returned in prior to your commitment date to ensure it gets approved.
If you are approved for Work Release during your commitment please make payment arrangements with Lindsey Aley (660-582-7451- she is located in the (Sheriff's Office) before your commitment begins.
Bond Information
The Nodaway County Sheriff's Office has a Stellar kiosk in the lobby that accepts bonds. The kiosk has easy to follow instructions on how to deposit bond money. ALL bonds must go through the kiosk. The kiosk accepts Cash or Credit only. If you need any assistance please ask the jailer on duty.
Commitment Information
When inmates are ordered to serve a commitment at the Nodaway County Jail they must report to the Jail on or before their commitment date.
Please bring any current medication that you are on in the original bottle.
Inmates are allowed to receive mail via postcard only. If you would like to send pictures please write 'pictures' on the outside of the envelope and no other mail will be given to the inmate other than the approved photos.
