Jail & Visitation Information
The Nodaway County Jail is a 42 Bed Facility. The Jail has 1 Cell Block, as well as an Observation Holding cell and an Isolated Annex.
The Jail is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Visitation schedule and rules
Each inmate is allowed one visit per weekend.
Visits are approximately 20 minutes long.
Inmates are allowed up to two visitors, but the visitors must split the 20 minutes.
Visitors must be over the age of 18.
Visitors cannot be on Probation and Parole.
Visits can be denied if the visitor is late.
Visits can be ended at any time if the jail staff deems it necessary.
Visits must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All individuals visiting must have their name on the schedule. Anyone not on the schedule will be denied.
No personal items, such as cell phones, photographs, books, etc., are allowed in the visitation booth. Please leave all personal belongings in vehicle.
